Tesla billionaire Elon Musk launched a takeover bid for Twitter, then showed upward at TED Talks in Vancouver to offer some of his reasons why before a friendly audience.

Musk outlined some of his thoughts on Twitter onstage at TED Talks 2022 in Vancouver on Thursday hours afterwards unveiling his potential $43 billion takeover of the social-media platform, where he has courted controversy and criticism in the past.
